The C are aiming to sway two highly sought-after college football recruits following an impressive weekend visit.
Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have concluded a significant recruiting weekend, hosting more than a dozen crucial prospects on-site. While some of them have already pledged their commitment to Georgia, others remain undecided but are approaching their decision. Additionally, a couple of highly regarded prospects appear to be ripe candidates for a change of heart.
The entirety of June holds immense significance for Georgia’s recruiting efforts, but this past weekend stands out as perhaps the most crucial series of visits for the entire recruitment cycle. Let’s examine a few standout prospects who visited the campus and are potential commitments or flips.
Interestingly, Justus Terry opted to decommit from the Bulldogs this spring and instead chose USC. Despite USC’s ongoing defensive struggles, Terry, ranked among the top ten recruits in the 2025 class, remains committed to Lincoln Riley’s program. Nevertheless, Terry has indicated that Georgia is still a contender for his commitment. His presence at the spring game, participation in the recent official visit, and occasional donning of Bulldogs attire suggest his ongoing interest in Georgia. Given Georgia’s superior performance compared to USC, it wouldn’t be surprising if Terry decided to flip back to the Bulldogs.
Isaiah Gibson, widely regarded as one of the premier edge defenders in the 2025 class, has long been considered a top candidate for a change of commitment. Despite numerous top programs vying for his attention, several leading recruiting analysts, including Steve Wiltfong of On3, believe that Georgia is well-positioned to lure him away from USC.
