Arizona Diamondbacks All-Star Geraldo Perdomo Undergoes Surgery on Torn Meniscus
After getting placed on the injured list on Sunday, Arizona Diamondbacks shortstop Geraldo Perdomo needed the meniscus in his right knee surgically repaired.
Arizona Diamondbacks shortstop Geraldo Perdomo has undergone surgery to repair the torn meniscus in his right knee, manager Torey Lovullo told reporters Monday.
The procedure was successful, and Lovullo said Perdomo hopes to be back in the lineup in May.
Perdomo started the first seven games of the Diamondbacks’ season at shortstop. He was batting .250 with a double, two RBI, a .625 OPS and a 0.1 WAR before he went down with his injury on April 3.
