Huddersfield Town have been dealt a significant setback with a fresh double injury blow. Top-scorer Josh Koroma and Wolves loanee midfielder Joe Hodge are both set to miss time, leaving the team without two key players as they push through a critical part of their season. This could impact their offensive and midfield dynamics, creating challenges for the club in the upcoming fixtures.

Huddersfield Town’s top-scorer, Josh Koroma, has been withdrawn from Sierra Leone’s international squad and is set to undergo a period of rest to recover from his injury. Meanwhile, midfielder Joe Hodge is also facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering a groin injury during Saturday’s match, which saw him exit late in the game.

These injuries add to an already concerning list for Huddersfield, with key players such as Lee Nicholls, Michal Helik, and Radinio Balker also sidelined. The growing injury list presents a significant challenge for the team as they look to navigate the upcoming fixtures without several crucial members.

Huddersfield Town head coach Michael Duff has confirmed that top-scorer Josh Koroma will be sidelined for an extended period due to a stress-related back injury. Koroma has been dealing with the issue for several weeks, but it has now worsened to the point where he is unable to play. As a result, he was pulled from Sierra Leone’s international squad and was unavailable for selection in Saturday’s match.

Duff’s side is set to face Barnsley for the second time in four days in the EFL Trophy, but they’ll be without Koroma as he focuses on recovery.
