Adelaide is set to face Collingwood for the first time since 2022 in their Week Eight clash on Sunday. The Crows have added three players to their extended squad: midfielder Abbie Ballard, and first-year players Amy Boyle Carr and Lily Tarlinton.
Ballard returns after recovering from a knee injury, while Boyle Carr and Tarlinton have also earned spots in the squad. According to Crows Head of Women’s Football, Phil Harper, all three players impressed during training.
“Abbie trained strongly on Wednesday, and it’s great to see her running well again after her knee injury,” Harper said. “Lily was fantastic in her debut and was unlucky to miss last week, while Amy brings some valuable speed after a full Gaelic football season.”
Adelaide will announce its final team on Friday at 4:30 pm (ACDT). The match will take place at Victoria Park in Melbourne, with the first bounce at 4:35 pm (ACDT). Fans can catch the game live on 7mate Adelaide, Fox Footy, and Kayo from 4:30 pm.
