I will never play for bulldogs again: College Football Powerhouse Hast Lost players

College Football Powerhouse Hast Lost 30+ Players To Transfer Portal, NFL Draft

On Tuesday, Georgia Bulldogs cornerback Julian Humphrey became UGA’s 21st player to enter the transfer portal since it opened in December. One day later, On3 reported that Humphrey no longer intends to enter the portal, bringing Georgia’s number back down to 20.

Had Humphrey decided to leave, he would have joined some big names like linebackers Jamon Dumas-Johnson (transferred to Kentucky) and Marvin Jones (transferred to Florida State) to depart via the portal.

As far as the NFL draft goes, more decisions will come in over the next few days. But center Sedrick Van Pran, a three-year starter, announced his plans to depart for the NFL draft on Wednesday, bringing Georgia’s total to 11 players who have declared for the draft.

Van Pran joins some big-name players like tight end Brock Bowers, safety Javon Bullard, offensive lineman Amarius Mims and wide receiver Ladd McConkey to declare for the draft.

That brings UGA’s total number of departures to 31 at the moment. As scary and large as that number may seem, it’s not too doom and gloom in Athens. The Bulldogs are bringing in some elite transfers, including former Florida Gators running back Trevor Etienne, former Vanderbilt wide receiver London Humphreys, and former Miami wide receiver Colbie Young.

Additionally, Georgia quarterback Carson Beck announced his return to Athens and will hold off on the NFL draft. Same for linebacker Smael Mondon.
