Auriemma’s remarks came in response to an incident involving Clark and Chennedy Carter of the Chicago Sky during their recent matchup, where Carter’s aggressive play led to a flagrant foul, sparking debate in the sports community.

“Is she experiencing the typical challenges and difficulties of being a rookie? Certainly,” Auriemma stated on Wednesday. “But she’s also being singled out.”

During the game, Carter collided with Clark, resulting in a flagrant foul and subsequent criticism.
