Knicks exploring Jericho Sims’ trade value as Mitchell Robinson nears return
Jericho Sims, recently sidelined from the Knicks rotation and listed as inactive Monday due to back spasms, is reportedly being shopped ahead of next month’s trade deadline, according to NBA sources familiar with the team’s plans, as told to The Post.
The center, one of the franchise’s longest-tenured players, has had a fluctuating role this season and was recently replaced by Ariel Hukporti on a “game-to-game” basis, per head coach Tom Thibodeau.
Sims has started three games this season, all in place of an injured Karl-Anthony Towns. While it’s unclear what the Knicks might secure in return, a source indicated they have sought a second-round pick. The 26-year-old has drawn some interest from other teams around the league.
