Faith Kipyegon is a Kenyan middle-distance runner specializing in the 1500 meters race. She has gained international recognition for winning numerous awards, such as a gold medal during the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Faith Kipyegon is married to a fellow middle-distance runner, Timothy Kitum. He is a one-time Olympic bronze medalist born on 20 November 1994. He also won the Commonwealth Youth Games 800m with a Games Record 1.49.32.
In the 2012 IAAF World Junior Championships at Estadio Olímpico in Barcelona, Spain, Kitum secured a silver medal for Kenya with a finishing time 1:44.56. Additionally, he has earned a bronze medal in the world under 18 category and a silver medal in the IAAF world relays.
Timothy Kitum and Faith Kipyegon have a daughter named Alyn. Faith Kipyegon’s baby was born in June 2018. As of 2023, she is five years old.
