Wrexham continue to make progress toward their Premier League goals, having achieved back-to-back promotions with their 6-0 success against Forest Green Rovers this past week.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are the masterminds behind Wrexham’s incredible feat of winning two consecutive promotions.
The Red Dragons will compete in League One next season after defeating Forest Green Rovers 6-0 on Saturday (April 13), securing the club’s second successive promotion.
It’s been three years since the Hollywood duo arrived at then-non-league Wrexham and have subsequently changed the club, putting them on track to accomplish their Premier League ambitions.
The possibility of adding the League Two crown to their National League victory remains, but the ball is now in the hands of leaders Stockport County. However, this did not dampen the mood at the Racecourse Ground.
It’s been a hectic ride for everyone involved with the club, with Daily Star Sport delving into how the Hollywood stars have inspired the club’s successive promotion victories.
The League Two team has benefited from the financial strength of its Hollywood owners, allowing it to gain large sponsors in the likes of Ally Financial, a multibillion-dollar bank holding firm.
They also secured a sponsor for their Fourth Wall Temporary Kop stand: Four Walls whiskey, an Irish-American alcohol brand founded by co-owner Rob McElhenney and his Always Sunny co-stars Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton.
