The Ferrari drivers, Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, had to control the brakes during the F1 sprint race at the Austrian Grand Prix.
In the F1 sprint, Sainz managed to pass George Russell on the first lap, but he was unable to hold off the Mercedes driver and lost.
After holding Lewis Hamilton at bay to maintain fifth place, the Spaniard was obliged to adopt a more cautious approach.
Following the race, it was discovered that both Ferrari drivers were improperly controlling their brake temperatures, which affected their speed.
