Las Vegas Update: Antonio Pierce, the former head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, has filed a lawsuit against the team for failing to pay him the agreed-upon amount from his contract during his time in service.

The Las Vegas Raiders have dismissed head coach Antonio Pierce following a 4-13 season.

The Las Vegas Raiders have parted ways with head coach Antonio Pierce, as confirmed by NFL Network insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero, and Mike Garafolo. The team has officially announced the decision.

In a statement, the Raiders expressed gratitude for Pierce’s leadership, first as interim head coach and then in the past season. “Antonio grew up a Raiders fan, and his Silver and Black roots run deep. We appreciate his efforts in reigniting the Raider spirit within the organization and wish him and his family the best in the future.”

Pierce spoke to the media on Monday following his team’s season-ending loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, stating that he hadn’t received any indication about his status as head coach. However, the Raiders have now decided to move in a new direction.
