Though the Rhinos have secured only two victories in four matches since Arthur’s appointment, their overall performance has notably improved, with Saturday’s win over Wigan being highlighted as their best of the season.
Martin played a key role in the 30-4 victory against Wigan, scoring a try and flawlessly converting four kicks and three penalties to contribute 18 of the team’s 30 points.
His performance received praise from Sky Sports analysts, and Martin revealed that his previous underwhelming display against Salford motivated his improved showing. He mentioned, “I was quite disappointed with my performance last week, so this week I focused on my contributions to the team, emphasizing my effort and working hard for my teammates.”
He added that he had missed some opportunities the previous week and made it a priority to bring more energy and focus to the game.
