Keelon Russell will not take any more official visits after committing to the Alabama Crimson Tide, per his dad Brian Russell.

Russell is the first signal caller to commit to Alabama under Kalen DeBoer. His commitment gives the Tide 11 2025 commits in the early part of a possibly big summer for DeBoer and company. Several people across the country are high on Russell’s potential including his trainer, Brad Stanfield, who has worked with several top signal callers.

According to his father Brian Russell, Keelon Russell has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide and will not be accepting any further official visits.

Under Kalen DeBoer, Russell is the first signal caller to commit to Alabama. His pledge puts the Tide 11 2025 in the lead early in what should be a huge summer for DeBoer and company. Many around the nation, including Russell’s trainer Brad Stanfield, who has experience working with several elite signal callers, are optimistic about the young player.

Stanfield said Touchdown Alabama, “I think he can be as good or better than any throwing quarterback Alabama has ever had.”

Russell was able to be recruited by Alabama from SMU, and a number of variables influenced his choice.
