WARE, England — Keenan Allen isn’t concerned.
The Bears are set to pay the veteran receiver $23.1 million this season. However, after five games—only three of which he has played—Allen’s top performance has only yielded 33 receiving yards. This pales in comparison to the 11 better outings from other pass catchers on the team this season.
Every other offensive weapon has had a standout game. Receiver DJ Moore recorded five catches for 105 yards last week, while running back D’Andre Swift had seven receptions for 72 yards the week before. Tight end Cole Kmet has also contributed significantly.
In other news, Bears cornerback Tyrique Stevenson is doubtful for the upcoming game against the Jaguars after suffering a calf injury in practice.
