Dallas Cowboys Injury Update: Free Agent Stephon Gilmore Leads Trio Needing Offseason Surgery

LAS VEGAS – A trio of Dallas Cowboys enter the offseason a bit battered and are undergoing surgery as they ready to give it another go in 2024.

Three Cowboys players underwent surgery shortly after the season ended with that ugly playoff loss to Gren Bay: Cornerback Stephon Gilmore, tight end Peyton Hendershot and offensive lineman T.J. Bass. … and Gilmore is the headliner for a couple of reasons.

As first noted by ESPN, Hendershot and Bass are expected to be ready to participate fully in the offseason program at The Star, the same cannot be said for Gilmore, who is facing a four- to six-month recovery before he can return, hopefully in time for training camp.
